RR Psalm 33:15,16 Part 8
Shalom {{firstName}},
Psalm 33:15 He who fashions the hearts of all, who discerns all their deeds. 16 No king is saved by his great army, no warrior is delivered by great strength.
What is being communicated in these two verses? God is the creator (He “fashions the hearts of all” and He understands “all their deeds”). This One, Who is all powerful, is the only Savior. No other great and mighty king or warrior can save himself by his own might and strength. We all, from the most powerful to the weakest link, need the One all powerful mighty God to save us.
Isaiah 45:21b There is no other God beside Me—a righteous God and a Savior—there is none besides Me! 22 Turn to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth. For I am God—there is no other. 23 By Myself I have sworn—the word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness, and is irrevocable: that to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear. 24 They will say of Me, ‘Only in Adonai is righteousness and strength.’ All who have raged against Him will come to Him and be put to shame.
These thoughts are often repeated throughout Scripture. Philippians 2:9 For this reason God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, in heaven and on the earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue profess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord—to the glory of God the Father.
Trust in the Lord and obey His command. Psalm 100:3 Know that Adonai, He is God. It is He who has made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Wouldn’t today be a good day to make a life changing decision? Psalm 100:4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise! Praise Him, bless His Name. Shalom shalom.
